The artwork made by Dinesh Soni depicts Lord Shrinathji as the Vishwaroop. The term Vishnu Vishwaroop refers to the cosmic form of Lord Vishnu, who is considered one of the principal deities in Hinduism. Here the artist has shown the Cosmic form as Vishnu centering the multiple levels of the Universe – the celestial abode of the Gods at his head, the material world of humans in his middle, and the netherworld at his feet – with his serpent Sheshanaga beneath. The Pandava and Kaurava armies gather on either side of his feet. The seven oceans of the earth encircle his body. In the center is Krishna with his Gopis dancing the Raas-lila or cosmic dance of ecstasy. Brahma sits with the crown on his head while Shiva and Parvati look on from their seat at Mount Kailasa on the upper right, and the four Vedas, the fountain of all knowledge, stand respectfully on either side. In Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu is believed to be the preserver and protector of the universe. He is often depicted as having a human-like form with seven heads and ten arms, holding various weapons and symbols that represent his divine attributes. This intricate artwork was made using natural stone colors on cotton cloth.
