A Senneh carpet, Northwest Persia, circa 1960. The deep navy field with an all-over Herati lattice in soft desert rose, ivory, and muted sienna, comprising stylized rosettes, diamond forms, and acanthus leaves, enclosed by a madder red main border with stepped floral medallions flanked by ivory vine-scrolls, multiple minor guards with floral meander, and a narrow dark blue surround. A grand size measuring an impressive 12 by 24 feet.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
