Circa 1930, this antique Bakhtiari rug features an open field rendered in red and twilight blue tones, with a central floral medallion design and elaborate palmette designs adorning the corner brackets. A polychrome flowering border encloses the composition. It is hand-knotted from high-quality wool using natural dyes.
