As Maya Devi started weaving her Manchaha, she witnessed that she had received all dark color wool and silk yarns. She decided to weave the nightlife of her village by crafting patterns resembling that of street lights using the hand-knotting technique. She has also woven birds sitting on the wires of the electric poles, capturing the little things she witnessed during the evenings. She has a hand-woven half-moon on the left side of her rug, capturing its presence and beauty during the night on the hand-knotted rug.
