Sheesha
Rajesh named his Manchaha “Sheesha” (Glass) because the rug reflects a world made of glass. The zig-zag lines and diamond shapes reminded him of fragments of broken glass lying at different angles, each reflecting something new. For Rajesh, sheesha is never useless. A perfect mirror brightens a home. A broken one becomes decoration. And when it shatters into powder, it melts and transforms into something entirely new. He wove that idea into this rug. Every pattern carries a different “character of glass.” Some reflect light, some resemble scattered pieces, and some feel like the moment a mirror melts and begins to flow again. Each pattern mirrors this belief: pieces may break, repeat, or scatter, but they continue to shine in their own unique way.
