Nirala
Gurpreet is a warm-hearted weaver, known for his cheerful spirit and the quiet pride he holds for two things that shape his life—gardening and weaving. He often moves between tending to his plants and working on the loom, and that rhythm finds its way into his rug. His design language is rooted in nature—blooms, butterflies, and lush plants flow through the patterns. He began Nirala by dividing it in two halves with a striking geometric spine. In the bottom half, he started with mirrored motifs on both sides, but as the rug progressed, so did his confidence. The designs grew bolder, more expressive. To water his woven garden, Gurpreet even included a hand pump filling a pot, a quiet nod to rural life. Suresh added his own gentle touch, and together, their weaving blossomed into something truly distinctive. That’s why they call this rug “Nirala, ” (Unique) because it’s like no other.

• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
