Rangeen Nazaare
“Rangeen Nazaare”—meaning Colorful Views—was woven within the confines of jail, yet it bursts with imagination and hope. Each day, the weavers look toward the distant mountains from the Ajmer jail workshop, their only view of the outside world. “This is the best view we see,” they say. It gives them strength and a quiet promise of freedom. Naveen, a deeply artistic weaver, filled the rug with animals, symbols of movement and life. At its center stands a flamingo, inspired by the migrating birds he once saw in Rajasthan. For him, the flamingo is a quiet symbol of freedom and flight. Though made behind bars, this rug is a window to the outside world—woven with color, memory, and dreams of a brighter horizon.
