Babulal began this Manchaha alone in Jaipur Central Jail. At first, he enjoyed the quiet, but soon, the stillness turned into boredom. Around him, others were weaving in groups, chatting and laughing. He realized the rug needed more than just his hands—it needed company. He asked Ramesh and Ajay to join in as they were about to complete their rug. Ramesh brought his eye for symmetry, Ajay added bold, moving motifs, and Babulal continued with soft, floating diamond shapes. Together, they brought rhythm and joy to the loom. Patterns became conversations, and weaving turned into a shared journey. They named the rug “Sanjha Safar” (Shared Journey), a tribute to the beauty of togetherness, even behind bars.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
