Seema and Priyanka, a mother–daughter duo, decided to divide this rug into two parts, each weaving her own section. Across the design, they added small elements from their everyday life: a matka (mudpot), shakkarpara (diamond-shaped sweet snacks), bangles, and butterflies. They have even woven a candle because there are frequent power cuts in their village; this way, the whole rug also lights up. They enjoyed working with neutral colours this time, letting the motifs stand out in a softer palette. One detail they were especially excited about was the laddoo (Indian round sweets) woven with bright red colour. They said these laddoos are meant for Lord Ganesha, just as they would offer them at home. That little thought became the heart of the rug and eventually inspired its name. The piece feels personal, two hands weaving separately, but with the same memories running through their work.

• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
