Sawan ka Intezar
Created by a trio of mother, daughter, and daughter-in-law during the sweltering summer, this Manchaha reflects their experience of the season and their deep yearnings. To save themselves from the unbearing heat, they had installed a table fan on the loom. However, the weavers shared that it felt like the intense heat might melt the fan itself. So amidst the dry weather, when the weavers saw the vibrant blue yarns for this rug, all they could dream of was rain. Inspired by this, they named their creation “Wait for the Rain,” or “Sawan Ka Intezar” in Hindi. The rug features patterns symbolizing rainfall in black yarns, while rivers cascading down the surrounding mountains are also depicted. With its traditional leheriya (wavy) design, the Manchaha captures the romance of the monsoon season. The rug overflows with the beauty of monsoon as much as the weavers' deep love for this refreshing season.

• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
