Manju ji's Manchaha rug, "Aangan," consists of several incomplete motifs of matka, leheriya wall, and mandana. It portrays a feeling of nostalgia for her loved ones. She believes that aangan, or home, is where you stay with your family, who are your biggest support in difficult times. Therefore, an aangan without the laughter, talks, and naughtiness of your kids is incomplete which she tried to beautifully portray through her hand-knotted rug. When she started working on her Manchaha, most of her family members were not at home, and she felt that emotion. Through this carpet, she signifies her intuition and showcases her love for her family, expressing that she is incomplete without them.
