Surji a 51-year-old weaver has woven her manchaha carpet and named it ‘Jali‘ which in English translates to a mesh design. Surji is an ambitious weaver who always searches for new motifs. Therefore, a mesh design is one of her favorite patterns as she got inspired by this design in her village and has woven patterns and adds up with designs such as flowers, trees, and empty farms in a colorful yet distinct look that matches her liking towards the village surroundings.
