Lacha is quite a doting mother to her children. She says that while weaving, her son, Vishnu, would come up to her and ask her to make some particular design. The same happened so many times that soon the manchaha was full of Vishnu’s favourite designs, She named the manchaha ‘Vishnu is Khwahish’, which translates to ‘Vishnu’s wishes. The carpet has motifs of flowers, trees, and sweets. Once Vishnu saw a horse in a marriage procession and asked Lacha to weave that design into the carpet too.

Lacha

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
