An antique hand-knotted Afshar rug, crafted around 1960 in Iran. The Desert Rose field with a central stylized medallion in shades of green with serrated edges, enclosing abstract geometric motifs. The open Desert Rose field allows these central patterns to stand out.The rug's narrow Deep Navy main border, triple major guards with narrow minor guards and plain Desert Rose surround, elegantly frames the central design with traditional artistry.
