This stunning 4x6 antique rug was handmade in 1960 by skilled artisans of the Afshar tribe in northeastern Iran. White and crimson blend in a lovely pattern to create a triple medallion design. Each medallion recalls a time when the nomads created carpets to maintain their culture. The placement of the medallions creates a beautiful mix of various motifs and patterns, giving an insight into their past.
- DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
