Emanating timeless elegance, this antique Tabriz rug, hand-knotted in northwest Iran around 1950, features a captivating floral all-over design. Its impressive 11x17 size allows the luminous field in a soft gold color, to provide a vibrant ground for the intricate tapestry of blossoms and meandering vines that spread across its surface. The borders are delineated by delicate floral vine guard borders, gracefully framing the central composition. A bold palmette and rosette pattern defines the main border, lending a regal finish to the rug's exquisite details.
