In this hand-knotted rug, Rajesh, Vikas, and Prem have intricately woven various landscapes and farms. They have used lighter colors to depict diverse farms, showcasing wheat, cotton, and millet in different sections of the rug. Tiny motifs of hot air balloons landing on expansive fields are also featured. The upper half of the rug features abstract patterns created with diamond motifs. Certain areas symbolize fish nets, while others illustrate a river meandering through mountains. The weavers have expressed how, when water seeps into sand, it darkens in color; they have aimed to capture this effect through their use of light and dark yarn shades. Consequently, they named the carpet “Geeli Mitti,” which translates to “Wet Soil.”

• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.

• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
