Chandu and Kesaram’s Manchaha is a woven representation of Anasagar Lake that is located nearer to Chandu’s home. He could easily see the lake from his home and he missed that serene view being locked in jail. Taking inspiration from that serene view, Chandu decided to weave the waves and the texture of the ocean. As Kesaram was new to weaving, Chandu kept telling him what to do and taught him the art like a big brother. Chandu has also woven a boat in the middle of the rug and huts surrounded by the lake. With broken lines and triangles, both weavers have tried to showcase the mountains along with two orange stars in the sky. Kesaram shares how he had a terrible time passing the time in jail because he kept worrying about his family and regretted his life choices. However, from the moment he learned weaving, he found a purpose in life. He calls Chandu his Guru and thanks him for sharing the art of weaving with him.

• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
