Phoolon ki Dukaan
When Akhilesh received this rug, a small portion had already been woven. But when he looked at it, he felt the design was too plain. So when he took over, he kept the background as it was but added his own touch, filling the rug with things he loves. He began weaving rows of tiny motifs: flowers, birds, blooming plants, delicate bead-like forms, and flower garments adorned with little decorations. Bit by bit, he brought life into the rug. Every line started to feel richer, fuller, like a garden slowly coming into bloom. Akhilesh says this rug is filled with so many flowers that anyone who looks at it can take one with them as a gift. Spreading the blooming positivity into this rug, Akhilesh named the carpet “Shop of Flowers” (Phoolon ki Dukaan).

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
