This rug represents Sulochana’s dream to travel around. Playing on a vast abstract base and small motifs, Sulochana wove in a bird’s eye view of a landscape. Using a traditional pattern style, she has made 2 large skeletal leaf-like structures which actually represent mountain tops, while there are also two small planes flying intersecting routes. The waves and blots of mixed colours on the left of the rug are a rock face that she imagines would look like from the sky. Udaan means to fly, and this Manchaha is nothing short of an artist’s creative depiction of flight.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
• Periodic professional cleaning recommended
