Ghar
Ghar is a memory woven slowly, the way time once moved in Nashir’s village. Nashir now lives far from home, having travelled to another part of Rajasthan to earn his living. But in his mind, home still exists exactly as it was: quiet, open, and breathing with nature. On the loom, he returns to his village. He weaves endless fields stretching beyond sight, fields that once held his footsteps. He places the familiar village entrance gates. They stand firm, welcoming, unchanged, as if waiting for him to walk through again. In Ghar, the sun rises without urgency. Nashir remembers how mornings began in silence, where light arrived gently and time could be felt, not chased. Each knot becomes an act of remembering. Through this Manchaha, Nashir holds onto a world where fewer people meant deeper connections, where nature spoke louder than voices, and where home was not a destination, but a feeling that moved at its own pace.
