Kohra aur Ujala
This Manchaha was woven by Kishan and Raju during the chilly winter months. They recall how the colors of the yarn brought them warmth amidst the cold. The surroundings were always foggy, and their early designs mirrored that mood—soft, hazy, and unassuming, with minimal intricate motifs. It wasn’t a conscious choice, but rather a natural response to the season. Then, one day, Kishan reached for warm orange and red yarns. With those colors, he began crafting what felt like sunlight breaking through the fog. Slowly, the design began to glow like a sunrise behind red mountains, revealing a vibrant land full of blooming flowers, and a sky full of life, that had once been hidden beneath the haze. Along with a beautiful transition on the rug, what truly emerged was a quiet metaphor for life itself. As the weavers shared, seasons in nature are much like seasons of our lives, sometimes clouded like fog, and sometimes radiant like sunlight. But just as the sun never truly disappears, neither does hope. Kohra aur Ujala (Fog and Light) reflects both the rhythms of nature and the emotional landscapes we all traverse and the promise of brighter days.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
• Periodic professional cleaning recommended
