Uthaar Chadhaav
‘Uthaar Chadhaav’ means ups and downs, and this is how Mamta describes her abstract design on the rug. Using a consistent colour palette, she played with a range of patterns that visually feel like they are going back and forth. Since this was her first Manchaha, she just decided to let herself lose and only in retrospect found the design taking this particular shape, and she continued to do it to maintain that essence. Her way of explaining the design is, “I just kept making different kinds of lines and I kept breaking them. I didn’t realize it was mesmerizing until I was half way through.”

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
• Periodic professional cleaning recommended
