Khazane ki Naav
This Manchaha was woven by Seema Devi and her daughter, Priyanka, who love turning everyday moments into designs. They began the rug with zigzag patterns before adding motifs inspired by life at home. Around the time they were weaving this rug, Seema's sister was getting married, so they wove stacks of laddoos, the beloved round sweets prepared for the celebrations. They also added paneer cubes, Seema's favourite dish, bringing another personal memory into the design. At the centre of the rug is a beautifully decorated boat. Seema laughingly says that it carries hidden treasure, which is why it has been adorned so carefully. It became one of the most playful details in the Manchaha. As the rug progresses, the design transforms into a peaceful village landscape. The mother and daughter filled the second half with fields, flowering plants, and a small mountain on the right, completing the journey from celebration to the quiet beauty of nature. Like many Manchahas, this rug is a collection of memories, festivities, favourite foods, imagination, and the landscape they call home. In the end, they named their Manchaha “Khazane ki Naav” (The Treasure Boat).

• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
