Purani Zindagi
Lakshmi, an experienced weaver, often reminisced about her earlier days when life was simple and slow. Inspired by those memories, she began to weave a rug that reflected an unhurried life full of peace. She crafted small huts with tiny windows that depicted the beauty of village life. She intricately wove lush green trees surrounding her home, providing shade and fresh air for her family and their pet goats. Lakshmi captured a view of a waterfall on her rug using shades of blue and orange: blue to represent the water and orange to depict the sunshine falling on it during sunsets. She also created large mountains that seem to touch the heavens, giving them a nearly divine quality. At the center of the rug, Lakshmi lovingly wove a path leading to her home, inviting viewers to sit on the "chaar pai" (handmade bed) placed in her front yard. There, they could enjoy a cup of tea with her and her family, taking a break from today's fast-paced life. With this precious invitation, she named the rug "Purani Zindagi" (Old Life), promoting a slower pace of life in today's rapidly moving world.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
