Mahal
Jumma has beautifully woven his own "Mahal" (Kingdom) on his manchaha carpet. His carpet represents a plan of how he would build his kingdom, his very own home. He started by weaving different rooms for his family using the hand-knotting technique and specially dedicated a room for his children in a vibrant red color decorated with kites on the hand-knotted rug. He represented the kitchen by weaving a pyramid that represented a pile of snacks! Jumma was a fisherman before he came to jail; fish are all he knows, and they even found their place in his manchaha. He weaved the flooring tiles of the home in shimmery wool and silk yarn. At the top, he weaved the roof, completing his dream of having a beautiful home where he and his family could live happily after he gets released from jail.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
• Periodic professional cleaning recommended
