Richard Hutten’s Playing with Tradition is an homage to traditional rugs and the legacy of craftsmanship while making every piece in the collection a playful revitalisation of the traditional rugs in order to keep them relevant for today’s and future generations. This rug showcases traditional all-over patterns describing the beautiful intricacy of craftsmanship while dominating the rug’s design are geometrical colourful square motifs that together make the piece a symbiosis, combining traditional and modern motifs. In an attempt to give a twist to the traditional artistry, the designer creates masterpieces that are sure to pique your interest.

• DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
• Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode
• If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
• Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
• Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
• If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
